Martine Feipel & Jean Bechameil zijn bekend geworden bij het grote publiek toen zij in 2011 Luxemburg vertegenwoordigden tijdens de Biënnale van Venetië. Architectuur staat centraal in hun werk. Recentelijk heeft het duo een serie gemaakt met een hommage aan De Stijl, genaamd Theater of Disorder.

Jean Bechameil studeerde aan onder meer de Willem de Kooning Academie, Rotterdam en zijn vrouw Martine Feipel behaalde een Master in Fine Arts aan het Central St. Martins College of Art and Design, London. Ook studeerde zij aan Hochschule der Künste bij Prof. Christiane Möbus in Berlijn. Daarvoor was zij student aan de Université Marc Bloch, Maîtrise en Arts Plastiques, Strasbourg.
