Bradwolff & Partners is proud to announce that they will be taking up permanent residence in Amsterdam as of September. After a nomadic existence, it is time for Bradwolff & Partners to settle in a space of their own and focus on their growing role in the international art world. To date, Bradwolff & Partners has successfully manifested itself at art fairs including Art Rotterdam, Unseen, Amsterdam, Ballroom Projects, Antwerp and Paper Positions, Berlin. And for upcoming projects, we will be working closely with partners from Los Angeles and
Tokyo.
Initiator of Bradwolff & Partners, curator Christine van den Bergh, founded the sister space Bradwolff Projects in 2014. This experimental non-profit space is passionate about programming critical exhibitions and provides scope for artists and curators to work on a project basis. Under Van den Bergh’s leadership, Bradwolff Projects has grown into an inspiring place in Amsterdam's art scene, and will continue to flourish in the future.
Driven by the desire to operate as an international platform and realize long-term collaborations, Van den Bergh
started Bradwolff & Partners in which working with partners is crucial for successful realization. Characteristic of
Bradwolff & Partners is its hybrid form of collaboration: initiatives are developed in dialogue with a select group of artists, guest curators, clients and institutions.
Bradwolff & Partners strives for personal contact and discussion, and these intercultural and interdisciplinary exchanges create space for new ideas and initiatives within the art world.
With the opening of the exhibition ‘together’, Bradwolff & Partners celebrates the launch of this new space. The exhibition is inspired by the eponymous work together by herman de vries. This group show features nine artists displaying their vision of 'togetherness'; as community, collaboration and shared experiences in different media, styles and modes of presentation.
Young, mid-career and established artists engage in dialogue with one another: herman de vries, Ruta Butkute, Sjoerd Buisman, Iva Gueorguieva, Katrin Korfmann, Jaehun Park, Greg Colson, Marike Schuurman and Eva-Fiore Kovacovsky.
The opening of Bradwolff & Partners is an important milestone in the platform’s growth. Van den Bergh and her
team are determined to position the represented artists in the international art world through long-term collaborations. The autonomy of the artists and the artworks remain central to this, with Bradwolff & Partners acting as a catalyst to bring the works to a wider audience.
We look forward to raising a glass to this festive occasion with you on September 8!
