Dianne Hagen studied at the Rietveld Akademie and followed the two-year residency at the Rijksakademie in Amsterdam.

2017- Artists’ initiative of Sanjeev Sinha and Dianne Hagen organised “Hold…On, Buddha Enlightened, Art & World peace”, an international site-specific sculpture park for which 11 artist from all over the world were invited to create a permanent art work in Bodh Gaya, Bihar, India.
2011- Artists’ initiative of Sanjeev Sinha and Dianne Hagen “Buddha Enlightened- 2 BE, Art & World peace” an international site-specific art event for which 31 artist from all over the world were invited to work in Bodh Gaya, Bihar, India. The works with permanent value are placed in Patna in public space.
