Magi graduated from the Academy of Fine Arts Ghent. She took her first photo in her teens with a borrowed camera. That first experience with an analog camera naturally made her fall in love with photography and the art form it represents. For her, photography is all about capturing sensation and emotions in an image that can be brought into our homes. However, after a while she came to understand the power of photography and its unique art form She began experimenting with different forms of Impressionism, Kinsugi's art being an important part, perhaps most exemplifying the spirit of Wabi-Sabi. The art of imperfection If you look at her work, she clearly plays with her eyes. Each photo can be compared to a masterfully composed painting That is why we often see landscapes and seascapes in her photos Undoubtedly, her work is a sensual journey of perfectly crafted and timeless memories that survive the modern chaos.
