Wannes Cré (BE, 1975) lives and works in Antwerp.
He was the co-founder of art spaces Scheld’apen and Het Bos. His practice ranges from music to writing short stories, shooting videos, creating images for theaters, musicians, fashion, film and dance. His work was exhibited for the first time in 2020 at deSingel art center in Antwerp as a result of a commissioned work for ‘detheatermaker, a nomadic theatre workspace. In 2021 he exhibited his work at Domein Fontein in Vilvoorde (BE), at Campo&Campo gallery in Antwerp (BE) and
at the M HKA (BE) as part of the ‘Quarantine Edition Selection’.
