Sammelsurium
A Collection
Bradwolff & Partners will kick off 2025 with a special exhibition concept. On 10 January, Bradwolff & Partners will open its doors to the exhibition Sammelsurium, a presentation of artworks from a unique private collection that the collector has passionately curated over many years. Releasing this collection is an emotional yet exciting process. The interplay of carefully selected works by artists from diverse periods and artistic backgrounds has always inspired dialogues within the private sphere. Now, the time has come for the collection to spread its wings, forge new connections with other collections, and perhaps lay the foundation for a newly created assemblage.
To ‘open up’ the unique and personal perspective of the collection, Bradwolff & Partners has invited various curators. During the exhibition, they will engage in a new dialogue with the works every two weeks. By adding, removing, or reframing works, they will spark fresh conversations between the pieces. This offers visitors a unique opportunity to experience the exhibition multiple times and gain new insights on each visit.
Featuring works by John Baldessari, Jan Eric Visser, Menashe Kadishman, Raymond Pettibon, Peter Ronsholt, Martial Raysse, Jan Schoonhoven, Jan Smejkal, Heiner Thiel, Joost van den Toorn, and many others.
