The exhibition 'Bare objects, On hold art and Product art' takes an innovative look at concepts of 'objet trouvé' and 'ready-made'. The unused object as an 'objet pure' does not exist in the visual arts, of course, but there are objects in the visual arts that lie on the border of art and not art. Or at least art that has been brought into the domain of their professional field by the artists in an unconventional way.
The work "Untitled" [field flowers in vase] from 2006 of Rob Scholte is included as an example in the exhibition 'Bare objects, On hold art and Product art'. It is an embroidery as an 'objet trouvé' that is framed inside out. So not quite it is presented as found.
