Drawing on a James Webb Space Telescope image and a 3D scan of the Pillars of Creation, the work stacks two sculptures into a single form. One is a generative star map that abstracts the nebula’s newborn stars and the other pairs text with a cartographic diagram of the Sun–Earth L2 Lagrange point, the telescope’s orbital home. By uniting what Webb sees with where it sees from, the piece collapses image, site, and language into a tangible map of cosmic observation.
