An oscillating fan, mounted on a tripod, is directed on a mirror. A process of action and reaction, expressed in air turbulence, arises between the fan and its mirror image. After a period of time the mirror image blurrs because of the dust motes settling on the place against which the fan is blowing. The changes that the sculpture undergoes take place almost unnoticed over time. The unstable and fragile mounting of the oscillating fan on a fragile tripod lends the sculpture an extra dynamic accent.
