About Einspach & Czapolai Fine Art
The Einspach and Czapolai Fine Art gallery was co-founded by Barbara Czapolai and Gábor Einspach in 2021. Located in Budapest near the Batthyány Eternal Flame, the gallery introduced a new standard to the Hungarian contemporary art scene.
Today, it represents key figures in post-war and contemporary Hungarian fine art, including István Nádler, Orshi Drozdik, László Fehér and Tamás Soós. It also manages the artistic legacies of Katalin Hetey, Sándor Molnár, and Krisztián Frey.
In recent years, Einspach and Czapolai Fine Art has achieved significant success both domestically and internationally, exhibiting at Frieze Masters in London and Paris Photo, and supporting numerous national and international publications.
The gallery has recently contributed to several important projects, including the catalogue for Muntean/Rosenblum’s exhibition at the Städel Museum in Frankfurt, Orshi Drozdik’s newly published book by MER. Books in Belgium, Krisztián Frey’s catalogue by the Ludwig Museum, the publication of Tamás Dezső’s latest works, and the first major monograph of Hungarian-born artist Peter Peri.
In 2024, Barbara Czapolai and Gábor Einspach also began representing major international artists, such as Muntean/Rosenblum and Peter Peri.
On September 1st, 2024, a new chapter began: reflecting the success of their collaboration and in line with their long-term vision, the gallery now continues under the name Einspach & Czapolai Fine Art.
This fall, Einspach and Czapolai Fine Art participated in viennacontemporary and Budapest Contemporary, and will also take part in Frieze Masters and Paris Photo.
