Galerie Weisbard has been working hard for three years now in Little C, the new Rotterdam district with New York allure. The gallery, founded by writer, TV and radio producer Hugo Borst, is a breeding ground and sanctuary for art and culture. Weisbard has proven to guarantee discoveries and rediscoveries. The gallery scouts talent at art academies, but also believes wholeheartedly in autodidacts. People with rough edges are no objection, but above all, quality is always the key. Young, old, outsiders - Weisbard launches visual artists and then lets them go again. Dead artists are given a salute. Sometimes more famous names pass by.
