About ZEIT
Let there be no mistake, ZEIT is a contemporary gallery, albeit different in approach than what most colleagues bring. No white cube here, no solo shows, but curated exhibitions combining new work by one or more contemporary artists with pieces, mainly abstract, from the 1950s to the 1980s. The older artworks, ranging from paintings and sculptures to rare screen prints and vintage design items, provide a historical background while the contemporary creations bring the sometimes undeservedly forgotten works back into the now.
ZEIT finds its origin in a lifetime of collecting, of bringing together works and items by famous favourites and unsung abstract heroes, and sharing our life with them. Now it’s time to share them with you.
