André Kruysen (1967, The Hague, The Netherlands) lives and works in The Hague. His sculptures explore the interplay between light, material and architectural form. Using resin casts derived from everyday objects, he creates sculptural compositions in which colour is almost entirely absent, directing attention to surface, texture and spatial relationships. Light continuously transforms the appearance of his works, inviting viewers to experience space as something shaped not only by form, but also by perception.
