About Thomas Rehbein Galerie
Thomas Rehbein Galerie was founded in 1995. The artistic program encompasses a range of contemporary positions of narrative and conceptual art. Ever since its beginning, the gallery has concentrated on substantial contemporary art. The artists represented by the gallery reflect upon everyday experience and test the boundaries of art making use of several media: painting, drawing, sculpture, photography, video and installation. Their works have found entrance into various national and international museums and renowned collections, such as Museum für Moderne Kunst Frankfurt am Main, Museum Ludwig Cologne, Hamburger Kunsthalle, Hamburg, Museum für Gegenwartskunst Basel (Switzerland), Kunstmuseum Basel, Kupferstichkabinett Basel, The MoMA New York, Guggenheim Museum New York, among others.
The gallery is administered by Thomas Rehbein and Sylvia Stulz-Rehbein. Permanent employees are Elisa Mosch and Sandra Pajer.
