Although in Rudolfs Stamers works he likes to use industrial and raw materials, he speaks about fragile and sensitive themes. Štamers work with the interspace between reality and dream world, where the states of mind are used as instruments. He reflects about unconscious sensations we get when we encounter lust, fear, amazement etc. Often in his installations and sculptures when Štamers revolve the lust, love and unattainable desires, he frequently base them in fictional scenarios, absurd tales/situations. Material wise those mental states are juxtaposed with construction field materials from home depot stores mixed with composite materials, paint and found object elements. The Sculpture series Stamers started at the end of 2020 was inspired by people he met on the streets of Paris. In abstract forms he create energies - muses and angels. he thinks people he meet in the streets of Paris leave subconscious memories and marks in me which then he transform into the portraits of these second long encounters. Graceful in their grotesque majesty, these sculptures consist partly of coincidence based forms together with ready-made and found object elements, showing our strength and weakness at the same time.
