'Anyone who takes time, will discover that the exhibition' What We Do Not (want to) See 'paints a picture of a generation of artists who are looking for a better adhesion on a world that seems to get out of order. They reflect on what is going on within our society and question whether it is just not vanity. Are we too easy coping with the difficulties every day: the climate crisis, refugee flows, political turmoil, the massive extinction of animal species, ... Despite these heavy themes, the works have a light-hearted and calming melancholy. There is no excess, just return to the essence.'
