8 March – 22 August Livingstone Sculpture Garden: James Brown – Jaipur Revisited
Sculptures by James Brown that were on view at the Jaipur Palace International sculpture exhibition in India in 2017.
The sculpture park was set up by Aparajita Jain and Peter Nagy, co-directors of the experimental art gallery Nature Morte in Delhi.
It is located on the grounds of Madhavendra Palace, one of a number of palaces within the 18th Century Nahargarh Fort complex on the edge of the Aravalli hills in Jaipur, Rajasthan.
This picturesque location was, from 10 December 2017, the temporary home to the work of fifteen Indian artists and nine international artists in an exhibition curated by Nagy.
These include Bharti Kher, Jitish Kallat, Reena Saini Kallat, Subodh Gupta, Thukral & Tagra, Huma Bhabha, Vikram Goyal, LN Tallur, Prashant Pandey, Benitha Perciyal, Asim Waqif, Ravinder Reddy, Anita Dube, Fernandez Arman, Haim Steinbach, Evan Holloway, Arlene Shechet and James Brown
