Re-Assembled brings together a diverse group of artists, each exploring themes of fragmentation and reconstruction in their own visual language. The exhibition reflects on how forms, ideas and emotions can be reconnected to create new meaning.
It is not a particularly quiet exhibition. Some works are loud and colourful, others whisper softly. I advise visitors to follow their intuition, to retrace their steps often, to be open to what comes their way, to enjoy RE-ASSEMBLED with their eyes wide open, but also to close them for a moment to dream away and invent a story.
Featuring works by Hervé Martijn, Philippe Badert, Chris Vanderschaeghen, Anne Vanoutryve, Johan Clarysse, Inge Dompas, Stephanie Gildemyn, Annouk Thys, Manon De Craene, Kathleen Ramboer and Hilde Van de Walle.
