O-68 presents work by Mirjam Pet-Jacobs (textile textures, torn paper, and cut materials) and Lotte Pet (impasto and smooth painting). Both explore transitions, shifting identities, and situations, but the differences between the art of mother Mirjam and daughter Lotte are most striking. While Mirjam’s starting point is the human being as a social being, Lotte’s is the body with organs, tissues, and cells—mind versus matter, concept and inquiry versus ethical wonder.
