Galerie Ron Mandos is proud to present Gravity, a solo exhibition by Koen van den Broek, opening on March 23, 2025. This exhibition marks an exciting new direction in his work, where he moves beyond painting scenes of roads and curbs to working directly with the materials used to create them. Using road paint, tar, and industrial marking machines, Van den Broek transforms his canvases into layered compositions that feature the patterns and textures of street surfaces. Alongside these paintings, Gravity, by Koen van den Broek, also introduces his first bronze sculptures: shapes inspired by digital sketches of his Firminy series and the large-scale Grand Firminy, recently shown at KMSKA. The exhibition will run until May 11, 2025.
