Bradwolff & Partners is pleased to announce Jaehun Park's solo presentation at Art Island 2024. [booth 33]
Park's site-specific installation "Melting Iceberg" serves as the focal point of the presentation, addressing the urgent issue of climate change. In addition to this installation, Jaehun Park presents his latest video work, "Stone Bullet Flower" (2024), in the haunting ambiance of a World War II bunker on Art Island. This thought-provoking piece tells a story of contrast, navigating between conflict and peace, creation and destruction. Visitors are immersed in a serene ballet of bullets and blossoms surrounding a solitary stone, symbolizing the enduring cycles of life.
Guided by gravity, the artwork encourages reflection on our connection with nature and the echoes of history. Within this tranquil enclave, Park poses a poignant question: amidst chaos, can we discover paths to peace? "Stone Bullet Flower" challenges and inspires us to seek harmony within ourselves and the world around us.
