Annet Gelink Gallery's presentation, celebrating Art Rotterdam's 25th anniversary this year, comes entirely from Erik van Lieshout. For the occasion, Van Lieshout built a space-filling hay sculpture of a rabbit, in relation to the farmers' protests, among others. The rabbit sculpture is part of the most recent project in which Van Lieshout, with the necessary humour and room for seemingly inescapable differences, tries to bring farm and city life closer together. In this project, politics, land art, craft and myths of the landscape are intertwined.
