For NADA Miamia 2021, we are pleased to present a group exhibition featuring works by Felix Beaudry (US, 1996), Ria Bosman (BE,1956) and Elizabeth Ibarra (MX, 1986).
Although formally different, all three artists share a common use of colours and lines. Bosman’s minimalism combined with her thorough research on hues and texture, produces vibrant and contemplative works in which the viewer is invited to question things that matter in life. Likewise, Beaudry and Ibarra’s — almost primitive — lines are reinforced by a play on colours revealing the two artists’ reflection on otherness: being a foreigner as well as being a stranger in one’s own body.
This group presentation confronts three different visual languages that interact with one another, offering three unique stands on how to express individuality within society.
