Through the Looking Glass -a reference to Lewis Carroll’s classic children’s book- implies going somewhere that is unfamiliar and unexpected. In an upside- down world, we as a gallery also have to think and act in unfamiliar, unexpected ways. Because it’s not possible to see the works inside the gallery, we will be making the works visible on the outside.
Until it’s allowed to open the gallery again, work from the gallery’s artists will be shown on large panels, directly in front of the gallery’s outfacing windows, giving you and passersby the opportunity to see the works up close. A small escape from reality into a different, imaginary world. We invite everyone to join us in stepping through the looking glass. New works will be exhibited twice a week. Stay healthy and we hope to see you soon.
