Do you want to buy art or design? Perhaps the KunstKoop is something for you!

At over 120 galleries spread across the Netherlands, you can buy contemporary art and design on installment with KunstKoop. From photography to illustration, from jewelry to design, from sculpture to painting – you pay in monthly installments while already having the artwork at home. You repay the amount at your own pace, sometimes for as little as 20 euros per month. Without interest, as the Mondriaan Fonds covers that for you.

The KunstKoop can be used for (applied) artworks created after 1945 by still-living artists or designers.

The artwork must be purchased from one of the galleries affiliated with KunstKoop.

If the artwork is an edition, it must meet certain requirements, which are known to the gallery owner. The work must not have been traded before.

Private buyers can apply between the ages of 18 and 76. The loan must be repaid before their 80th birthday.

You are residing in the Netherlands.

If you are living alone, a net income of at least €1430 is required. If you are cohabiting, a combined income of at least €1970 net is required.

The loan amount ranges from a minimum of 250 euros to a maximum of 7,500 euros per artwork. If the artwork costs more, you will pay the remaining amount directly to the gallery

The duration of the loan is a minimum of six months and a maximum of three years. You can always repay early without any additional costs.
