The three works (monologue, dialogue and multilogue) show fragments of my research project 'deconstruction of spoken language'. My focus is not on the meaning of the words and sentences used, but on the non-verbal audible elements, beyond the words themselves. What is the meaning of intonation (doubt, certainty, questions, indignation, etc.), tempo (speaking faster or slower, silence, etc.), rhythm and taking turns in conversational situations? By making these elements visible, I want to discover if we can also give them meaning. The monologue is a lecture by philosopher Jacques Derrida (1930-2004), one of my inspirations, and founder of 'deconstruction'. The dialogues and multilogue are 'live captured' spontaneous conversations.
