Dominique De Beir used a role of paper used in textile fabrics with holes, to make patterns. She reperforated the role and painted it in the colour bronze. The work can be 'spread' on the floor to make an installation; can be hung in a circle on the wall; can be (standing) 'stretched out' to make a 5 m. high tower.
