SYLVIE FLEURY, Cuddly Painting, 1992
In 1992, Sylvie Fleury had her first solo exhibition at Galerie van Gelder. A number of canvases were stretched with fake fur that was bought at the Albert Cuyp in Amsterdam. This orange-yellow canvas is one of those works. The fabric is no longer available and that makes this Cuddly Painting unique.
In the bottom right corner of the image you can see part of the VOGUE edition, which was shown to the public as a publication of GALERIE VAN GELDER EDITIONS at the same time as her solo exhibition.
