Edition 777 - Let’s Share The Print #03, 2018

The Edition 777 is designed as an innovative, ephemeric artistic campaign created on the occasion of publication of two new books by Piotr Zbierski: Solid Bars Of All That’s Left Untold and Echoes Arc. The campaign is open between 23 October 2023 and 16 February 2024 Unseen Amsterdam is the preannouncement event. The package contains - The print on Hahnemühle Agave 290 gsm paper - Unique fragment of the picture on glass - Written story inspired by the photograph Edition 777 - first release Designed by Piotr Zbierski www.piotrzbierski.com/project777 © concept, photographs, texts Piotr Zbierski The base idea is simple: you choose the photograph you like and receive a collector’s quality print + the unique fragment of the image printed on glass. The original pieces are made based on Voronoi patterns, the way the matter in nature is divided into irregular shapes. I created them by breaking the glass plates into pieces. Here comes the element of the lottery: you choose the picture, and then the glass element is drawn for you by the randomisation module. Furthermore, I wrote the short stories. The words are symbolically inspired by the image or circumstances in which it had been taken, or they serve as the diary note from that period of time. They are added to your Edition 777 print box. Let’s share the print and have your unique piece inside together with the written story. There are 33 different photographs to choose from in the campaign. None have ever been sold to a private collector in other editions. They will not be available in other formats after the campaign ends. In the 777 Module, you can find as well Portfolio Edition and Uq 1/1 framed broken glass board. Portfolio Edition is offered in wooden boxes limited to 111 copies.
