We are part of a bigger picture. We feel it when we look at the stars and the
planets. However, science has long seen the universe as something beyond us and
what we behold. Recently, this view has changed. We are indeed part of the
whole. Because we observe, we even add to matter.
There is a source of energy that surrounds us all and wants to bring us to life. A flow of creativity and lightness. That is who you really are. Everything else is an illusion, a temporary veil for your consciousness. We sometimes forget this in our daily lives, where we tend to narrow our awareness and believe what we are told by our upbringing and culture. Until we believe that we are no more than this body, male or female, practitioner of our profession. We are as big as we allow ourselves to be. If we manage to preserve our inner world, it keeps expanding and becoming richer and richer, just like the universe itself. The more personal, the more universal. We are one.
In The whole of who we are, the eternal life energy is represented by the marbles. They represent the playful and free, the unlimited possibilities, what we are capable of when we are attuned to our deepest selves. The strict, black attire symbolises the static exterior, the imposed rules, the narrow and restrictive.
“But already my desire and my will were being turned like a wheel. All at one speed. By the love which moves the sun and the other stars.”
Dante Alighieri
