“Ooluflai” is a pigment print from my series of ink drip drawings. These drawings, based on sections of the circle - halved, quartered, inverted and mirrored - used points on the compass for the structuring of straight black lines which on closer inspection, reveal themselves to be ink drips of varying lengths. This process creates the illusion of volume and cavity. In “Ooluflai” an abstracted female torso also reads as a couple embracing.
