uk/event/unboxing-alex-frost/ Alex Frost’s art captures an optimised and energised life ‘on-the-go’.
Whether making objects for a gallery or producing videos for online circulation the life he encapsulates
is one where consumption rules all life.
Artist / bio notes
“It re-presents the world as a warehouse of potential objects of consumption, and individual life as a perpetual search for bargains; its purpose is presented as
maximal consumer satisfaction, and life success as an increase in each individual’s own market value.“ Zygmunt Bauman, Happiness in a society of individuals (2008).
Alex Frost (Tottenham 1973) is an artist based in London.
