From the presentation Insight Whisperer
Trans-disciplinary artist Ola Lanko embarks on the quest for meaning and insight. This presentation features the artist's most recent research in which she is looking for a crossover between metaphysics, new spirituality, agnosticism, materiality, and the real. Lanko takes the role of an insight whisperer facilitating a conversation with your rational and irrational self. A quest for individual and collective insight. A playful exploration of materiality translated into abstraction.
Creating together with the help of the invisible forces, Lanko points out the inability to understand the world only through its materiality. Taking a single object as a point of departure, the artist expands and unfolds our understanding of it. These abstract, intuitive, and contemplative works is a collection of insights to be made by the viewer. Ola Lanko invites you to expand existing maps to navigate the world, rejecting fixed models of reality, provoking personal discovery and transformation by marrying senses and rationality.
