In his ceramic sculptures Elmar Trenkwalder creates an intriguing fusion of architecture, nature and the human body.
The exuberant formlanguage in his sculptures is related to the baroque architecture that once flourished in Austria. In addition, parallels can be found in asiatic cultures such as Buddhist stupas and the erotic statues in the facades of Hidu temples.
