Doppelopment is a coined word made by Nomura from the German word “Doppelgänger” which is “a type of hallucination for seeing yourself on your own” and the English word “Development” in photography. Nomura created another girl "Nana" by "Doppel-development" (Nomura) which photographs his real daughter "Hana" multiple times in the same place, and composited 2 images. The fact that "a photograph tells a lie" is now conceptually understood by anyone, but the photographs of the two girls quoted masterpieces of twin photographs by Diane Arbus and Shigeo Gocho , When presented in front of us in the form of a beautiful monochrome print, we confirmed that myths related to photographs "What is reflected in the photograph is true" is still effective, even in the modern age of digital technology. And Nomura himself becomes strongly influenced by the "existence" of another daughter that he created.
