Stamina, 2018

SALIM BAYRI, Stamina, 2018, wearable. For a rider it takes a lot of power to sit sideways on a mount. On a camel, it probably takes even more energy to resist fatigue or stamina. Salim Bayri was guided here by Greek mythology in which Europe was abducted by Zeus, disguised as a bull. With a slow change in the European population, 'Stamina' shows a more optimistic interpretation of what the continent of Europe is currently undergoing.
