Karin van Dam developed this work in the Textile Museum Tilburg. It consists of knitted fabric composed of monofilement (nylon) and wool. The central circle is supported from the inside by a metal frame, which raises it slightly and opens it up in the middle. Below the central circle are four semicircles that make it look like a flower or water lily. The woven fabric, however, has an almost technological appearance, creating a tension between the organic total form and the high-tech material.
