Galerie Ron Mandos is proud to take part in TEFAF Maastricht for the very first time. As one of the most respected art fairs in the world, this participation marks an important milestone for the gallery. We present a carefully curated group exhibition featuring Isaac Julien, Hans van Manen, Erwin Olaf, and Hans Op de Beeck, centered on the human body as a site of vulnerability, strength, and beauty. A special focus lies on rare vintage and carbon prints by two towering figures of Dutch culture: Hans van Manen, the master of dance who passed away last December, and Erwin Olaf, who passed away two years ago and is now honored with a major retrospective at the Stedelijk Museum Amsterdam. From sculpture to photography, the body becomes the central subject of this year’s presentation.
