Ken'ichiro Taniguchi, PHOEBUS Rotterdam 2012, Hecomi Study #22: "Melkkoppad".
In the alley next to Museum Boijmans-Van Beuningen was a cavity = 'hecomi' in the street, growing because of a tree root. This 'hecomi' was followed several years; it was the basis for the sculptures and the finger prints on paper in the exhibition.
Fingerprints on paper, 8x 0.70 x 1 m.
8 Hanging 'Hecomi' sculptures, pvc, hinges, metal. All 8 'hecomi' forms of the cavity were put together in one bigger sculpture: 'Hecomi I-VIII', 2012, 70 x 40 x 20 cm.
PHOEBUS RD publicized in 2014 the book 'Ken'ichiro Taniguchi, Hecomi Study 2002-2014. See https://www.phoebus.nl/KUNSTENAAR/Kenichiro.Taniguchi/
