Series: ‘Les Ruines de Paris’ “By imagining an abandoned Paris, we allow ourselves to wander through the now deserted streets, exploring the city and playing with the tourist and cultural symbols that shape the image of the capital. The importation of this apparent reality into our own becomes an exploration of the motif of ruin and its representation, between historical and personal references. Both a projection and incarnation of our apocalyptic fears at the very moment of the major paradigm shift marked by the sudden generalization of artificial intelligences and their exponential rise in power: does the ruin of Paris not become the visual metaphor for this anxiety?”
