"This series of prints on linen are the fruit of a long journey to find and master a new technique that would match the feelings I was trying to express. Many years of trying, failures and successes, disappointment and excitement, end with this selection of unique works presented for the first time. Being able to create a final piece that went from my eye to my hand without a middleman is liberating. These works are a dialogue, both by their form and subject, and a continuous back and forth, between digital and analog, mechanical and manual, persistance and disappearance. The process is a mix of techniques, blending photography ink to a piece of linen, prepared as for a painting. The transferred pigments remain captives of the paint. The result is a delicate yet unfragile inprint, irregular and unique. No glass is needed, the viewer can completely dive into the image, going from super close-ups to wider views."
