In Attachments-Sunning, Jing captures images of quilts and clothes adorning the balconies of residential buildings in Tiandu Cheng. The sunning garments contrasts starkly with the backdrop of the French-looking neighborhood which includes a glimpse of a small Eiffel Tower in the distance.
This dynamic inclusion of ready-made objects not only challenges conventional notions of art, blurring the lines between art and utility, but also mirrors her understanding of significant concepts—such as history, originality, identity—as loaded terms that require deeper exploration.
