In her works, Marie-Claire Messouma Manlanbien brings together different cultures while fusing traditional handicrafts with urban industrial processes. Within her installations, Manlanbien creates a form of continuous research to understand, in her words, 'creolization and cultural synthesis'. Extensive textile works become complex maps of multiple identities and diverse ecosystems where different stories meet and form new ones.
