Dana Lixenberg (1964, Amsterdam, NL) studied Dana Lixenberg (1964, Amsterdam, NL) studeerde van 1984 tot 1986 fotografie aan het London College of Printing en van 1987 tot 1989 aan de Gerrit Rietveld Academie in Amsterdam. De kracht van haar werk ligt in de intimiteit en de afwezigheid van sociale stereotypering. Lixenbergs serie Imperial Courts 1993-2015, haar meest uitgebreide serie tot nu toe, werd in 2017 bekroond met de prestigieuze Deutsche Börse Photography Foundation Prize.
