GRIMM is proud to announce a group presentation for Art Rotterdam 2021 with Charles Avery, Tjebbe Beekman, Alex Dordoy, Volker Hüller, Saskia Noor van Imhoff, Arturo Kameya, Claudia Martínez Garay, Rosalind
Nashashibi, Michael Raedecker, Lucy Skaer and Alex van
GRIMM’s presentation for Art Rotterdam includes a selection of significant works from eleven artists, representing notable points in their practices. Among the artworks exhibited are two prominent paintings by Michael Raedecker that reflect a vision of intricate post-human worlds and a conceptually layered, multimedia sculpture by Saskia Noor van Imhoff. Alex van Warmerdam presents an affecting new portrait in advance of his solo exhibition at GRIMM Keizersgracht in September 2021. Exemplary paintings from Tjebbe Beekman’s oeuvre delineate distinct styles reflecting on contemporary society. Claudia Martínez Garay reimagines the graphic iconography of propaganda and historical narratives in a series of large-scale tapestries and Lucy Skaer’s collection of bronze sculptures tell a story of conflict, abstracted over time. GRIMM also proudly presents distinctive works by Charles Avery, Alex Dordoy, Arturo Kameya, Volker Hüller, and Rosalind Nashashibi.
