Drop (2025) resembles a drop of water at the instant it meets a surface and begins to spread. The glass appears liquid, although it is entirely solid. Resting on a dark wooden block, its transparency and lightness are set against weight and mass.
Bergmans captures the moment when movement becomes form. Rather than containing water, the glass takes on its qualities: fluidity, elasticity and the suggestion of movement.
Drop balances between nature and construction, between movement and stillness. A fleeting event is made tangible, while the impression of movement remains suspended in the solid form.
