Eudald de Juana Gorriz is a Catalan artist (Girona, °88) based in Figueres, Spain. He was born in 1988 into a family of sculptors where, surrounded by an artistic and natural environment, he learned the trade and developed a deep interest in art. At the age of 19, he began his formal studies in Fine Art and explored many different artistic disciplines at the University of Barcelona. Generally, he uses the human form as a starting point because he considers it a great tool to express emotions and engage with viewers.
After graduating in 2012, Eudald moved to Florence to study sculpture and drawing. Here he was able to further develop his interest in depicting the human figure in naturalistic style, based on the tradition of the 19th-century French and Italian academies. Eudald does mostly private commissions, his works are in private collections in countries such as the U.S., Canada, Great Britain, Italy, Spain, Austria, France, Germany, Kuwait and Hong Kong.
