Bradwolff & Partners proudly presents "Fragmented Dialogues" at the 26th edition of Art Rotterdam, on view at booth E9. This presentation focuses on the exploration of fragmented narratives, where everyday, surreal, and political associations intersect with (art) historical references and contrasting timelines. The works of Iva Gueorguieva and Pere Llobera engage in a dynamic dialogue, both with themselves and their surroundings, encouraging the audience to discover new connections.
Iva Gueorguieva creates her paintings as rhythmic constructions, layering paint, sliced lines, and crackling colour fields that evoke an elusive dynamism. Her work is a constant fluctuating movement, a tension between structure and disintegration, inspired by architecture, landscapes, bodies, and gestures. At times, Gueorguieva breaks the boundaries of the painting, creating sculptural assemblages in which fabric and paint acquire a palpable, physical presence.
Pere Llobera combines classical painting techniques with surrealist elements and a playful visual language. His canvases are rich with symbolism and references to history, mythology, and personal experience. While his earlier works were characterised by a more restrained palette, he has recently experimented with vivid, pop-art-like colours. This interplay between tradition and transformation imbues his work with a captivating depth.
With "Fragmented Dialogues", Bradwolff & Partners offers a compelling exhibition in which two artists push the boundaries of painting and installation. Art Rotterdam 2025 provides the perfect platform for this exploration of fragmentation, history, and new narratives.
