VOEBE DE GRUYTER, Cluttered Together, 2025
Voebe de Gruyter is convinced that images penetrate deeply into our existence. Images are constantly in motion and in most cases they move invisibly from one place to another. In 'Cluttered Together' a group of friends in a kitchen take on the contours and colour of a vegetable that is discussed with great amazement. According to Voebe, the shape changes from a pepper on the counter to a group of people standing close together chatting.

Text in painting, right:
'They had clustered together so compact they almost merged into one shape.'
