SALIM BAYRI, Maroc Late, 2024
For many years Salim Bayri has been making watercolor drawings during his travels. In 2024 he began making pencil drawings with inventories of, for example, candy manufacturers, political parties, longest personal names, etc. In his drawing 'Maroc Late' we find inventories of music groups, international news services and types of oranges. He keeps these drawings with lists folded up in his notebook, ready to pull out when he's on the road and wants to add a list to them. At the top left, Salim has drawn a portrait of his brother with whom he regularly performs music under the name 'Bazoga'.
